# SVX Token

SOVDEX has its own native utility token, SVX, that can only be mined by burning SOV.

SVX can be staked for reduced exchange fees, SOV trading burn subsidies (SOVDEX has a burn fund of 5 million SOV separate from all its other relays), and increased SVX mining reward for trading on SOVDEX. 

10 SVX will be minted every second for 30 days, then the minting rate will decrease to 9 SVX per second. This will repeat every 30 days until around 210 million SVX have been minted, then it will drop to 0.5 SVX. 

After 333,333,333 SVX have been minted, the max supply will be reached. The mining model and staking requirements for discounts and burn subsidies are gone over in detail below.

**SVX will be minted starting at 10 per ten seconds and decrease by every 30 days until it is 1 per second. After it reaches 210 Million it will decrease to .5 per second, which will continue until it’s maximum supply of 333 million. Below is an example of the first 360 days.**
